Designing normally requires considering aesthetic, functional, and many other aspects of an object, which usually requires considerable research, thought, modeling, iterative adjustment, and re-design.
Design as a process can take many forms depending on the object being designed and the individual or individuals participating.

As a designer, I work to communicate purpose, beauty and function of the object's message. This is done through the careful use of sounds, visuals, information architecture and even the users own interaction with the media. To accomplished this the designer must have a deep understanding of what the message is and what role it needs to play with the user.
